Oracle NetSuite
Oracle NetSuite cloud ERP in Cairo and Egypt
A fully cloud ERP built for growth: finance, inventory, order management and multi-company consolidation in one system, implemented and supported for Egyptian businesses.
About NetSuite
What is Oracle NetSuite?
NetSuite is a cloud ERP system, founded in 1998 as one of the first business applications delivered entirely over the internet, and acquired by Oracle in 2016. It combines financial management, inventory and order management, purchasing, CRM, e-commerce, professional services automation and reporting in one cloud platform. Because it’s delivered as software-as-a-service, there are no servers to manage, and all customers receive regular updates.
NetSuite is especially strong for companies that are growing fast, operate several subsidiaries, trade internationally or need real-time consolidated reporting. Its OneWorld capability manages multiple companies, currencies, tax rules and consolidation in one system.

Why groups choose NetSuite OneWorld
Many Egyptian businesses operate as groups: a mainland company, one or more free zone entities and sometimes companies in other countries. Managing them in separate systems makes consolidation slow and error-prone. With OneWorld, each subsidiary keeps its own ledger, currency and tax rules, while inter-company transactions, eliminations and consolidated reports happen in one system in real time. Group finance sees the whole picture without spreadsheets.
NetSuite configured for Egyptian requirements
We configure NetSuite for Egypt VAT, including tax codes, reverse charge, bilingual tax invoices and VAT reporting, using NetSuite’s localization features and extensions where needed. We structure the chart of accounts for Corporate Tax records, set up subsidiaries for mainland and free zone entities, and prepare for Egyptian e-invoicing as requirements are introduced.
Is NetSuite right for you?
Good fit if…
- You’re growing fast or planning international expansion
- You run several subsidiaries and need consolidation
- You want a fully cloud system with no servers to manage
- You need strong revenue recognition or subscription billing
Consider alternatives if…
- You’re a small single company with simple needs
- You need on-premise hosting
- You need deep built-in manufacturing for complex production
How a NetSuite implementation works
NetSuite implementations follow a structured, phased approach. We start with discovery and design, configure NetSuite using leading practices for your industry, migrate data, build integrations and custom workflows only where needed, test with your users, train each team, and go live at a planned period start. NetSuite’s customization platform, SuiteCloud, including SuiteScript and SuiteFlow, allows extensions without changing the core system, so the regular NetSuite releases remain smooth.

Releases and updates
NetSuite releases major updates twice a year, applied to all customers. New features arrive automatically, but customizations and integrations should be tested in a release preview before the update reaches production. Our support includes release testing and user briefings on what’s new.
Integrations
Common NetSuite integrations include e-commerce platforms, payment gateways, banks, CRM systems, logistics providers, and BI tools. We use NetSuite’s APIs and proven connectors, with monitoring and error alerts for every integration.
Dashboards and real-time reporting
NetSuite gives every user role-based dashboards with live key performance indicators, reminders and reports. Finance sees cash, receivables and close progress; sales sees pipeline and orders; operations sees stock and fulfilment. Saved searches let users build their own lists and reports without coding, and every number can be drilled down to the source transaction.
Security and reliability
NetSuite is delivered from Oracle’s cloud, with Oracle managing infrastructure, backups and availability. Access is controlled through roles and permissions, with options for two-factor authentication and login restrictions. Audit trails record changes to records and settings. We design roles during implementation so users see exactly what they need.
Industries using NetSuite
Wholesale and distribution, software and technology companies, professional services, e-commerce and retail brands, media and advertising, and holding groups with several subsidiaries across the region.
Training and adoption
NetSuite is used through a web browser and mobile app. We train each team on its own role and dashboards, provide guides for common tasks, and support key users after go-live. Because NetSuite updates twice a year, we also brief users on new features that matter to them.
What you get at handover
A configured and tested NetSuite account, migrated and reconciled data, trained users, documentation of your configuration, scripts and integrations, admin access in your company’s name, and a support plan.
Migrating to NetSuite
Companies usually move to NetSuite from accounting packages, older on-premise ERPs or a mix of separate systems across subsidiaries. We map each entity’s chart of accounts to a group structure, clean and migrate customers, vendors and items, load opening balances and open transactions per subsidiary, and reconcile consolidated figures before go-live. Historical detail can be archived or summarised.
Choosing a NetSuite partner
Ask how the partner approaches multi-subsidiary design, Egypt VAT localization and e-invoicing readiness, which scripts and integrations they plan to build and how they will maintain them through NetSuite’s releases, and what support they provide after go-live. Ask for references from similar groups and make sure responsibilities are written into the scope.
Scaling with NetSuite
Because NetSuite is a single cloud platform, adding a new subsidiary, warehouse, currency or business line doesn’t require new servers or a new system. New entities can be set up and reporting extended within the same account, which is why NetSuite is popular with companies expanding across the GCC and beyond. Additional modules, such as advanced inventory, demand planning or professional services, can be added as needs grow.
Case study
A regional group with entities in Cairo, a free zone and Saudi Arabia moved to NetSuite OneWorld. Month-end consolidation, once done in spreadsheets, now runs in the system.
