New office IT setup: ready in 30 days
Cabling, internet, network, Wi-Fi, laptops, email, phones, security and CCTV, planned and installed by one team, so your staff walk in on day one and start working.
Your new office should work from the first morning
Opening a new office is exciting, and stressful. There’s the lease, fit-out, furniture, licences and hiring, and IT is often left until the final weeks. That’s when problems appear: the internet line isn’t installed, network points are in the wrong places, the comms cupboard has no cooling, the Wi-Fi doesn’t reach the meeting room, laptops aren’t set up and email isn’t ready. Staff arrive to an office that looks finished but doesn’t work.
IT for a new office involves many suppliers and dependencies: internet providers, the fit-out contractor, cabling installers, hardware suppliers, software licences and security systems. Each has its own lead time, and many tasks must happen in a specific order. Without one person coordinating everything, delays and rework are almost guaranteed.
ITZone delivers new office IT setup as one coordinated solution. We plan with you from the moment the lease is signed, work with your fit-out contractor and building management, order internet lines early, install cabling, network, Wi-Fi and security, prepare devices and Microsoft 365, and test everything before move-in day. One project manager, one plan and one partner responsible for the result.

Office setup checklist beyond IT
IT is only part of an office move, but it touches many other tasks: confirming building management rules for contractors, coordinating with the fit-out team on cable routes, aligning furniture layouts with network points, arranging access cards for staff, and updating your business address on your website, email signatures and Google Business Profile. We coordinate the IT-related items so nothing gets missed.
Choosing the right setup for your size
Small office (up to 15 people)
A compact network cabinet, business firewall, a few access points, cloud email and file storage, endpoint protection and remote support.
Growing office (15–75 people)
A structured cabling system, managed switches with separate networks for staff, guests and devices, redundant internet, meeting room technology and onsite support options.
Larger office or headquarters
A dedicated comms room with cooling and UPS, high-availability firewalls, enterprise Wi-Fi, CCTV and access control, and a full managed IT service.
Mistakes that delay move-in day
Ordering internet too late
The most common cause of delays; installation can take weeks.
Letting the fit-out team decide network points
Points end up behind furniture or missing in meeting rooms.
No comms room planning
Racks squeezed into storage cupboards without cooling, power or security.
Consumer Wi-Fi
Home routers and extenders that can’t handle a busy office.
Unprepared devices
Laptops arrive on day one still in boxes.
Security forgotten
No MFA, default passwords on network equipment and no backups.
No documentation
Passwords and configurations held by whoever installed them.
Our roadmap is designed to prevent each of these.
Meeting rooms and collaboration
Modern offices rely on meeting rooms that work instantly with Teams or Zoom. We plan room technology with your layout: screens, cameras, microphones and speakers sized for each room, wireless presentation, room booking panels where useful, and strong Wi-Fi coverage. Rooms are tested before move-in so the first client meeting goes smoothly. See Hybrid Workplace
Security from day one
A new office is the perfect moment to build security in properly. We configure the firewall with secure policies, separate networks for staff, guests, printers and cameras, enable MFA on all accounts, deploy endpoint protection and email security, set up backups, and store all admin credentials securely in the company’s name. Starting secure is far easier than fixing problems later.
Who uses this solution
Companies opening their first Egyptian office, businesses relocating or expanding, international firms setting up a regional hub, startups moving out of co-working spaces, and organisations adding new branches or floors.
Getting internet right in a new office
Internet is the foundation of every modern office, and the item most likely to delay move-in. Availability and lead times vary by building and provider, so we check options early with building management, order the primary line as soon as possible, and add a second line from a different provider or a 4G/5G backup for resilience. The firewall is configured to switch automatically if the main line fails, so staff barely notice outages. We also size bandwidth for your team’s real usage, including video calls and cloud applications.
One project manager, one plan
The biggest benefit of treating your new office IT as a solution is coordination. Your project manager keeps a single plan covering internet providers, fit-out contractors, building management, hardware deliveries, cabling, configuration and staff onboarding. You receive weekly updates and know exactly what’s done, what’s next and what needs your decision, so move-in day arrives without surprises.
Case study
A consultancy in New Cairo moved into an empty fit-out. Cabling, Wi-Fi, laptops and email were ready on day one, and the team lost no working days.
