Retail & E-commerce

Retail and e-commerce IT solutions in Egypt

One connected retail operation: POS, online store, inventory, loyalty and finance working together across every branch and channel, with reliable store networks and security behind them.

Customers shop everywhere. Your systems should keep up.

Egyptian shoppers move freely between channels. They browse on Instagram, compare on a marketplace, check stock on your website, visit a mall store, pay with Apple Pay, collect in store or get same-day delivery, and expect loyalty points to work everywhere. Major sales events such as Ramadan, Eid, White Friday and the Cairo Shopping Festival create huge peaks, and competition is intense.

Behind the scenes, many retailers struggle with disconnected systems: a POS in stores, a separate online store, inventory in spreadsheets, accounting elsewhere, and loyalty in another tool. Stock figures don’t match, online orders sell items that aren’t available, promotions differ by channel, and month-end reconciliation takes days.

ITZone helps retailers and e-commerce brands connect their operations. We implement retail ERP and POS, integrate online stores and marketplaces, unify inventory and customer data, build store networks and Wi-Fi, secure payments and data, and support stores during trading hours.

What is omnichannel retail?

Omnichannel retail is a strategy where all sales and service channels, including physical stores, websites, mobile apps, marketplaces, social commerce and customer service, are connected, so customers enjoy a consistent experience and can move between channels seamlessly. In practice, it means one view of inventory, one customer profile, consistent prices and promotions, and services such as buy online and pick up in store, return anywhere, and loyalty that works across every channel. It differs from multichannel retail, where channels exist but operate separately.

What is retail ERP?

A retail ERP is an enterprise resource planning system configured for retail operations. It brings together purchasing, inventory across stores and warehouses, POS, pricing and promotions, e-commerce, customers and loyalty, finance and reporting in one platform. Retail-specific features include product variants such as size and colour, replenishment rules, store transfers, consignment, gift cards and multi-store reporting. Platforms such as Odoo combine ERP, POS and e-commerce in one system, while other retailers integrate specialist retail systems with a general ERP. See ERP · Odoo

Retail management software we implement

We implement and integrate retail ERP and POS platforms, online store platforms such as Shopify and WooCommerce, loyalty and CRM tools, and analytics. The right combination depends on your number of stores and SKUs, channels, product types and growth plans.

Reliable technology in every store

Each store needs dependable connectivity for POS, payments, stock lookups and staff devices, plus guest Wi-Fi in some formats and CCTV everywhere. We design a standard store template, covering firewall, switches, Wi-Fi, backup internet, POS hardware, printers, CCTV and access control, so new stores open quickly and every branch works the same way. Central management means changes and updates are applied to all stores at once, and monitoring alerts us to problems before staff notice. See New Office IT Setup

Preparing for peak seasons

Sales events can multiply traffic and transactions. We prepare retailers by load-testing websites and checkout, scaling hosting temporarily, checking POS and payment capacity, freezing non-essential changes before events, and providing enhanced support during peak days. After each event, we review performance and plan improvements for the next one.

Retail security and payment protection

Retailers handle payment cards, customer data and high-value stock. We use PCI-compliant payment providers so card data stays out of your systems where possible, segment store networks so POS is separate from guest Wi-Fi, protect staff devices and email, monitor for fraud and suspicious activity, and back up critical data. Cashier controls and audit trails in the POS reduce internal losses. See Managed Security

Data-driven merchandising

Unified data turns into better decisions: best and worst sellers by store and channel, sell-through rates, stock ageing, basket size, promotion performance and customer lifetime value. We build dashboards that merchandising, buying and finance teams actually use, helping you stock the right products in the right places.

Who we support

Fashion and lifestyle retailers, electronics stores, supermarkets and convenience chains, beauty and pharmacy retail, furniture and home stores, direct-to-consumer brands, and retailers expanding from one store to many.

Making omnichannel services work

Services such as buy online and pick up in store, ship from store, endless aisle and return anywhere depend on accurate, shared inventory and connected order management. We configure order routing rules so online orders go to the best location, give store staff simple screens to pick and hand over orders, integrate delivery partners for same-day and next-day options, and make returns from any channel update stock and finance correctly. See E-commerce Development

Choosing a retail IT partner

Look for experience with retail ERP, POS hardware, e-commerce platforms and store networks together, because retail problems usually cross all of them. Ask how they handle peak seasons, support during trading hours, and integrations with marketplaces and delivery partners. References from retailers of a similar size are especially useful.

E-invoicing and finance in retail

Retailers selling to businesses as well as consumers need to prepare for Egyptian e-invoicing on B2B transactions, while B2C sales are currently excluded. Clean product, customer and tax data in a retail ERP makes compliance much easier. See Egypt E-Invoicing

Social commerce and marketplaces

Many Egyptian brands now sell through Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp as well as marketplaces. Each channel adds orders that need to reach the same inventory and fulfilment process. We connect social shops, WhatsApp ordering and marketplaces with your central stock and order management where integrations exist, so new channels add sales without adding chaos.

Case study

An Egyptian fashion retailer with stores and an online shop unified POS, e-commerce and inventory on one platform. Online overselling stopped, click-and-collect launched, and month-end close got faster.
